Hello, Nokia Fans in India!   :)

November 16, 2018, was a special day for us - it was the day we unveiled the new Nokia Smartphones Fan Community forum! And it was even more special because we got to share the experience with a select bunch of fans in Bangalore.

It was a great day for a few other reasons, too. Our Global CMO, Pekka Rantala, flew down from far-away Finland just to meet our fans. And he brought with him a unique gift, too. Do you remember, Bangalore folks? If yes, tell us what it was and how you liked it!  :p

Bangalore-based psychedelic rock band Dark Light plays out some great numbers to welcome our fans, ending with their take on the signature Nokia tune.


Our first speaker was Vice President and Country Head - India, Ajey Mehta. 

He was followed by Pekka Rantala, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, HMD Global.

Sanjoy Dass, Director, Product and Strategy - India, brought the presentation to a close.


Once our speakers were done... well... speaking, it was over to our enthusiastic fans, who had an unlimited supply of questions, feedback, and heart-warming stories of how Nokia devices have played a big role in their lives.



Post that, it was time for a group photo, and some yummy lunch!


All in all, it was a fantastic event - full of impactful suggestions and feedback from our fans that our teams in HQ are already working on.
