The update bricked my device.  It's stuck on the Nokia boot logo now.  Support hasn't been helpful.  Was able to get into recovery and wipe/factory reset...tried update again...same exact thing happened.  Stuck at Nokia boot logo. upon reboot for update.

Is anyone else getting duplicate notifications since pie update? I've only noticed it when getting text messages, but it could happen during others. Anyway, when a text comes in, if i don't read it, the notification sound will play every 36 seconds. (Yes, 36 specifically.)  The issue seems to happen only when Ambient Display is set to periodically, not once.

What if your phone is not controlled by a "local operator"? I have a pre-paid services in two countries and bought my phone unlocked directly from Amazon US.

The Update Bricked my Amazon Preordered 7.1 ....can't even get to hard reboot wipe mode.  No Nokia Support yet.

I had the same issue, but I was able to get into recovery.  The steps to get into recovery on this Nokia model differ from other Android phones I have.  I was able to successfully get back to 8.1, then I was stupid and tried the update 2 more times, both times a fail.  So I am sticking with 8.1.  I think the update got pulled because my phone checked for updates over night and didn't find the update this time.  I can send you the steps Nokia support sent me on how to get into recovery on this device.

Hello everyone.

I have an issue with the camera since I updated the Nokia 7.1 a twice hours ago.

When I start the camera a buzz sound appear from the back side of the phone, it doesn't matter for pictures but for video, the sound remains and I can heard in the final video.

It doesn't happen on Android Oreo.

Same happened to me today, stuck on NOKIA logo. Did factory reset to try again but same error. Lost some of my latest date 😏

Yeah.  I am sticking with 8.1 for now.  Everyone with this issue should contact support and let them know.  We need to get them to acknowledge the issue is real and not a one off thing

I did try that. No joy. It aborted the update saying something to the effect it was the wrong version for my phone.

The update error message says it's for the B2N, which is the Nokia 7 Plus. Wrong firmware! I posted this on the xda forum discussion, but nothing has changed.

I have 7.1 TA-1085 and updates is showing Pie very. V3.39A.  Size: 1305.5MB  When I hit "update" it tries to do an update; I can "pause/resume" but I don't know if it is downloading anything or not
Ps. Is Nokia really so incompetent, pushing a wrong update?
