Just installed November patch (manually ota update)

The latest updates bring couple of fixes. I will provide screenshot for those. First of all download the update file and paste it in main storage (outside of all folders)

Note: I have installed using phone dialler method and if you aren't getting install update popup then just restart or power off and then power on device. All credit goes to XDA developers.

Exactly. We should wait. It might be a half baked one and can lead future update issue.

Hopefully within couple of days for the update to come.

If it's on XDA then it should be legitimate and it's uploaded by calyx and confirmed by edwaine to be legitimate update

The software feels more polished and refined now.

@mehtasameer2087 @wyk It won't be bricked trust me. Nokia has fixed several bugs and the google face unlock is fixed too

Is the screen freezing and app crashing problem Solved?
Now Is it again like buttery smooth Nokia7plus?

Actually I haven't face these issues before also (i.e. with pie on Oct SP) but it may have been fixed because animation became smooth. Just give it a try 😁. If you are talking about screen freezing in recent apps menu then I have faced it once till now on November SP.

Just a little fear that it doesn't cause any harm to my device.

I was also worried about that about bricking my device but then the issues and poor battery life forced me to do so. Just backup every thing before applying update as precaution. Use phone method only because that is the safest method.

Because of the bugs in android pie on October SP. They rumours too that Nokia pulled the update.

Really strange none of the nokia officials replied to this thread yet.

Are they encouraging people to update phones in this process or its against their policy ?

Will this method of updating void my warranty? And If I do this, will I be not eligibile for future software and security patch updates please reply. Much appreciated if Nokia officials will give feedback on this method of updating phones.

This process isn't against their policies because we are updating our device with offical ota update released by them.

i updated it manually .It feels a lot buttier now even the fingerprint scanner is fast now
