    I agree with @mehtasameer2087, they use some sort sort of glass protection from NEG which is considered to be a Japanese rival to standard Gorilla glass. I still believe this glass should be close enough in strength and durability to Gorilla glass, if not equal.

    yes nokia 8.1 does better overall in camera department than Poco F1, but you can not simply say that it is better in every aspect. If you look at the daylight images from both phones, more accurate and true to life colors are from nokia, but sometimes color saturation is better on poco.
    While for low-light shots although nokia might be able to capture more detail, but sometimes letters in images are more clear on poco.
    So it depends on how you look at and what you want from the device. If you want a premium looking device having decent speed with good camera, then go for Nokia 8.1. But if you want the fastest out there at the cheapest price without considering the build and just ok with decent camera, then Poco F1 should be the clear winner.

    frankly as a Nokia fan... I can't just tolerate any other Chinese OEM or ordinary OEM beat the midrange flagship in any way. .  & that's why I try to criticise the bad as a critic fan.

     I feel same here and cant accept under performance of nokia which was home for innovation as long time ago. But now phones now  releasing are just copying features other brands even 8.1 has large ugly  notch which is completely unnecessary they just following the other companies. Iphone has big notch so we should also keep a big notch. As nokia 7 plus sucessor i thought it will going to have amazing features but no they just make it worse and outdated features except nokia ozo there is nothing special hmd till now.  
    They launch at  too much price and later 2 months they sell it in discounts if sale is not going as expected ( nokia sirroco ,6.1,5.1 etc)

    Fully Agree lack of excellence from HMD. 8 Sirroco & 7 Plus only stands out design wise.

    Fully Agree lack of excellence from HMD. 8 Sirroco & 7 Plus only stands out design wise.
    I believe HMD has potential to make it happen but now they selling mobiles in the name of nokia. Hmd should start investing r&d division otherwise they will be listed in failed brands .

    This was sad that you Nokia people did not provided the review unit to the top creators . Due to this we were not able to see the review of Nokia 8.1 by our favorite reviewers technicalguruji and Amit bhawani I.e phone radar.
    If anyone think that I am right than give a big thumbs up.

    My 8.1 is hanging so often. Don't know what's the issue. Everytime it hangs I need to lock it and unlock back again. Also it acts weird sometimes. Hmd Pls solve this asap as I have already started loosing trust

    may be you got defective unit as I have nokia 8.1 which working fine.Just Try Factory Reset Or Hard Reset If still continue issue then replace your product.

    I told u using navigation gesture ...the pill button not usual nav buttons.

    I told u using navigation gesture ...the pill button not usual nav buttons.
    are you talking about this pill button then it hasn't used in landscape mode just swipe left starting from end of pill side then show like this then switch application use of pill button.

    Nokia should give some more gestures in Nokia 8.1..a phone in this range should have a lot more gestures like other brands .. plz gix it up

    Nokia follows pure Android guidelines....as their slogan is. ..no space for dedicated face unlock....extra gesture or additional customization.

    I sold my iphone 7 plus and bought nokia 8.1 for a month.This is a very high CP mobile phone in Taiwan.the only regret is that the native launcher is not unique enough. Why not keep supporting the Nokia Z launcher back on the google play store?
    I think this is the soul of Nokia.
    Now I waitting the Nokia 9 pureview coming,or Nokia lumia design Android phone
