Missing overview (square) key

Help! Got a new Nokia 3.1 yesterday. The overview (square) button was showing in the bottom right of home screen as it should. A few hours later the overview button disappeared. Now there is no way to see what apps are open and close apps. Anyone know how to restore the overview button?

I've never encountered that problem, sorry. Have you tried a factory reset?

Even in my nokia 6.1 plus phone which i bought 3 months back , I am not able to find square button to close apps after I did factory reset today .

Please help !!

Brother it's android pie "Swipe Up Home Button" , You can change it in Settings
- System
- Gestures
- Turn Off The "Swipe up Home Button"

The answer for the 7.2 with Android 9, is to swipe the home button upwards.\nThis has the same effect as the missing square button, all of you running apps are displayed and a swipe up will terminate them.

My Nokia6.1 just upgraded to android 10 & the square button went away
