Seems Like the First Generation of Nokia phones are scheduled to get the Pie update at last. Since Nokia 3 is a low budget phone. I think the update will be available in Q2 of 2019. As always take this with a grain of salt. This is just a speculation.

Android pie for Nokia 5 & 6 (2017) are testing internally on FIH (spotted on FIH server) after this 3.1 plus, then serialy 5.1 3.1 & at last Nokia 3 will get updated in Q2 2019

Nokia 3 is not part of Android One program PLUS it uses MediaTek chipset, which has worse software support than phones with Snapdragon processors... my advice is just sit back and don't get too excited too soon.

Nokia ta 1032 got android 8.1. I hope nokia 3 will get pie update.

Hey Am not exited, I am telling u the official timeline for pie update for above, which leaked from fih server, Note that currently Nokia 5 & 6 are testing for pie on FIH, I want to tell u in advance Nokia 5 & 6 will get pro camera mode after updating to pie (as I seen the leaked video of testing)

Thanks for the info. I am just making the worst assumption since Nokia 5 and 6 are both using Snapdragon processor so it kind of makes sense that their software are developed faster than Nokia 3. Nevertheless, it's still an excellent effort that Nokia 3 is still guaranteed for 2 major system upgrades.
