Hi everyone,

Since I'm nearing the end of the year, I decided to create this thread, where you can also thank your favorite forum members.

I would like to thank the members:

@madbilly

@naufrago

@user389 (Hans)

It was a joy to read your posts and I look forward to the next in 2019.

I could also mention other members, but it would be a long list. That's why I want to thank you all for being here. Because the community is mainly about people.

I wish everyone Happy New Year.

    Thank you, I'm flattered :blush:
    Others already mentioned the ones I can think of nominating this early in the morning, so no tags this time.
    I appreciate all community members who takes the time to follow up and let the forum know when a suggestion, workaround and how-to works or not for them.
    Happy New Year!

    @singhnsk thank you for the kind words however "hero" is an overused term and I don't feel it's warranted in my case. If it is then there are many others on this forum who deserve that title more - for this reason alone I'm glad that we got new forum software! :D
  • Thanks bro @nitin kachare and all valuable community member,Happy New Year In Advance.

    I can never forget the two names from old forums: Psychomania and you :) It is nice to see you here again. I wish HMD makes you super excited with the Nokia 9 Pureview that you re-enter the world of Nokia with a lot more passion :blush:

    @shaunmoroz thanks mate :smiley:

    @jimmyireland I think you're right about the echo chamber, this community needs to mature a bit yet. I think the main difference though between the old Nokia forums and the new one is that old Nokia phones had more for people to talk about! Also, so much was specific to Nokia back then that there was nowhere else to talk about it. With HMD phones being pure Android there are hundreds of places online to discuss it. HMD has some way to go yet before it can really reclaim that old community feel.
  • There's no spirit here  No drive  It could be a great place where I'd love to be like before

    I keep coming here now and again too, but it's nothing like the old NSD, shame...

    Hi everyone,

    I like this thread posted by @petrus because it seems to be very encouraging and thoughtful.
    It helps us value the community members and give regards to those for their meaningful contributions to the community. Anyway there could be many more people in the list but as @petrus said it would never end. Belated happy new year to all  :)

    @jimmyireland, @93tid the old Nokia Discussions forum depended on people being engaged in discussions didn't it? Maybe we've not reached critical mass of committed forum-goers yet.

    There are a few of us who try and check what's happening every day, but tbh there's too much for me to keep track of even in the subset of the forum I watch. We need more people who are checking in and joining the discussions on a regular basis.

    What else do you think we're missing?
