WiFi issue when connect to hidden wifi

We have three users i.e. I have Nokia 6.1,My Brother have Nokia 8.1 and My Cousin have Nokia 6.1Plus but what we faces commonly i.e. Wifi Connection On hidden wifi network.We get connected quick on JioFi Router i.e. Public but unfortunately couldn't connect on hidden office network i.e.BSNL(Sometimes Connect i.e. 1/10 taking too much time).My Nokia 6.1 connected very well from July to October i.e. Oreo 8.1 but After Updated to Pie 9.0 it couldn't get connected.Similar Things Happen On Nokia 6.1Plus,Nokia 8.1 also.2.4Ghz/5Ghz or both hotspot,Reset Network Settings,Restart Device or even factory reset didn't work.May Be Pie Build have issues on wifi connection.

hope, there is no problem with your internet service providers, please change your WiFI routers once and change the username and password on your wifi routers, you'll also need to log into your modem page and change the VCI and VPI details as per your ISP if it is BSNL or Airtel or Jio and also check your modem is effected with any malware or not. @seesha Its not happen on one modem or one office network.Its happen on every secure hidden wifi network.Same Office network get connect other devices easily so how can you say that its modem problem.If we disabled security i.e.Hidden then it gets connect easily.

@seesha found solution i.e.when we adding hidden wifi network at that time tap on advance options and set yes Hidden Network Option.It will connect hidden wifi network easily after that.

Hi,

I had a similar problem with with with the Pie 9.0 update. In the end what was causing the problem was the internet provider's router, in my house Virgin telco, and the WIFI configuration.

Confirmed, configuring Virgin telco's router correctly solves the problem with the Pie 9.0
