I wish to upgrade from my Nokia 8 . Unfortunately emmc5.1 storage and snapdragon 710 doesn't compelling to buy 8.1
In my honest opinion, Nokia needs a flagship killer to kill others . Nokia 9 will be great I know but in between 8.1 and 9 pureview , we need something.
Nokia 8.1 plus 
Design : classic Nokia 6/8 like square design with gorilla glass 5/6 with minimum bezels( no notch , no punch hole please)
Software : stock android with ability to unlock bootloader
Display: 5.2 Inch OLED panel with puredisplay technology and underdisplay fingerprintsensor(please keep it small, big display are compelling many user with small hand to go to a doctor to increase finger size )
Processor: Snapdragon 855 
Storage : 128GB UFS2.1 
RAM: 6GB LDDR4X
Front Camera : 2 x Sony  IMX179 8MP 1.4 um pixel
One Wide angle and other normal
Rear Camera :
Main: Sony IMX586(12mp 1.6um) + OIS 
Secondary Monochrome : Sony IMX412 12mp 1.55um
[Believe me monochrome is magical with proper algorithm , please contact arcsoft HMD please]
Speakers : Dual Front Firing speakers with NXP smartamplifiers.
(TFA9911UK will be preferable )
Audio : Hires support with Arkamys algorithm(algorithm is very important to give great sound quality)
Battery: 3800mah with 7nm snapdragon 855 , it will be epic 
Price Tag : $550
