Please add a search box above 'New Discussion'-button

I think that lots of forum members bookmark a page of this forum - e.g. I bookmarked the one about my phone (Nokia 8).
When they have a problem they do not know where to look on the forum of their phone because there is no search box. They only see 'New Discussion'. So they are expected to first go to the Home page: https://community.phones.nokia.com/
My solution would be to insert a search box widget in the right hand side column just above the 'New Discussion'-button.

Agreed we really need a more accessible search button. Other than that, we also probably need a search functionality while creating new discussion. Like the user enters his query and the system gives him a few of the relevant forum topics (if they exist already). We can maybe avoid some duplicate posts, especially those asking for Pie update or security patch.

Yup I agree not only this but all the other small design changes suggested by different users so far seems relevant and would make this community forum a lot easier to use and potentially keep it clutter free as suggested by @singhnsk. But Nokia had promised us that they would look into these suggestions and will try to implement it in the stable version of this website. But, I wonder when are they going to release this stable website. It's better not be a year after.

But didn't the old forum had the functionality that when you typed the topic heading it showed topics that were similar or the same? If so, is there a possibility that the same add-on or widget can be installed to assist with the search button?

Anyones here have problem with lagging when Nokia 8 playing heavy games? I have that problem and at the edges of my screen i see some shadow from the page i opened before
