I was (official) member of Beta-progamm in Decembre 2017, I didn't roll back to "Oreo", I have got the "official" Version of Pie together with the february-security patch. And, I have got the (pure) march-security patch last week (Germany, TA-1012, bought in Octobre 2017).
I don't believe that the "Beta" is/ was the reason for missing february-/ march-security patch.
And, I am afraid, HMD doesn't know the reasons, too. I believe it gives more than one reason for it.
honestly why don't they at least release the updates as zip files so we can flash them whenever we want and if it's broken, we can downgrade to a stable version whenever we want. This is what I love about Nexus/Pixel phones
@Silviu Laurentiu Sgindar today i read from @Costy that he had received the March security patch update, while he's using an Orange sim. I've checked for updates with my normal Vodafone sim in, but nothing was available. Then i inserted an old, expired Orange sim that I had around and the March update arrived.
Background: i don't know if either influenced this, but yesterday I've done a factory reset on my phone AND had a quite enraged chat conversation with their support (from the "my phone" support app.) They've asked for my IMEI multiple times, i don't know what they did with it, eventually the result was the same old: be patient, updates will come... Anyway, i hope they get back on track and actually bring the much needed fixes to our phones. At least now, not when it reaches the end of life/support...
@Silviu Laurentiu Sgindar Did you try a sim from another operator? In my case, I've switched my normal Vodafone sim to an old, disabled Orange sim and there it was when checking for updates.
Reading review from one former manager feels as like I'm reading some of my own posts.
Top management have totally lost their direction and respect by the employees. Taiwanese culture have taken over and there is no value or respect for employees. They firing the manager level people while C-level people who are responsible for all the failures stay
Advice to Management
I wonder how you think to succeed when you have lost the respect from everyone, including partners. There is no strategy, no communication, people just disappear like in North-Korea and you don't say a word what happened. Would it be time to make some cleaning on C-level too?
,,,,,,,,,,,that's it then, this company is a dead man walking, just so sad.

I don't have dead sim. Active vodafone and Telekom don't work.
I wrote there a few days ago and still the same excuses - thank you for the announcement, your issue will be escalated to the relevant department, etc. I think it's very naive to think that Nokia 8 still gets some update with bug fixes. Unfortunately, I am started looking on smartphone from another brand because I no longer want to tolerate it.
I can't believe my own eyes - just got the March update! Finally, I can get rid of the old Pie Beta from January... and they really skipped february in my case, hah country: Slovakia, TA-1004
@sonny101 the March update is only a security patch, not maintenance release... I don't think it does much to the beta, at most removing the feedback app. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it should add the Battery manager and Digitalwellbeing

No that is only if you get a maintenance release up to version .140
I regret to give you information that everyone should already know. Who gets into beta programs is what brand goes into trouble. It is so in any brand. Beta testers are for experienced programming users. Users with above average knowledge to be able to solve their bugs on their own. Beta versions always bring errors. Incidentally you should only install beta versions on secondary devices never on the main.

That's weird. I have TA-1004 in Slovakia too and still no March update available for me. Hmmm. Don't know what is this..

What a load of cobblers, there are no means available to solve any of the problems introduced by the beta by any user regardless of technical knowledge, héll even HMD don't seem to be able to fix half them given the bugs in the beta are also present in subsequent non beta builds.
You can download the package here: https://bit.ly/nokia-nb1 (OTA Folder). Copy the downloaded zip file to SD card. The phone needs to switch to recovery mode and select the option to update from the SD card.
I now have the March update. UK 3 network - 00WW_5_11B I just mashed update a few times, could be the release of the 9 pureview prompted the devs to finish the 8 code?
