I was told otherwise before. Still, it looks like there's many who haven't received the patch anyway.

I just put an old SIM in from an old contract and was immediately shown this available:

My phone is currently on Android 8.1 December 2018 security patch. I'm in France and the SIM was for a defunct French MVNO.

I'm not installing it yet though as I'm waiting for the compass and geotagging to be fixed.

So you can jump straight to February from Oreo.

If you can, put a Bulgarian SIM card and you will receive it.

I don't believe updating depends on a SIM card. You can update your phone with no SIM card present. Last year I ordered Nokia 6 (2017) for a friend, didn't have his SIM card, and phone smoothly updated to Oreo. Also installed all security updates without a hitch.

In Czech Republic still waiting for Pie. I am still on 8.1.0 with January security update. I tried to contact support about it and always received only answer that it depends on region and operator etc.

Lithuania. NOKIA 8. TA-1004.
Too did not receive a February Security update and the new version 00WW_5_140 of a firmware yet.
I sit still with a January Security update and on a firmware beta 00WW_5_110_SP1.

Something wierd is happening with Pie update!? Still no update in Bosnia? What is happening? Maybe problems with resolving compass failures and battery drain, problems I'm dealing with. But, they should address this publicly!?

What is wrong with you Nokia? 18 march and still no february update. Keeping this way nokia 9 will be the last nokia because nobody will want to buy a phone full of bugs from the begining and that you dont fix in 2 years or more.

Eng, dont wanna be banned Same, only first build with jan sec upd. I have problem with battery drain, I'm charging it 2x per day

I don't have any problems with battery,it can last me all day long and more,and I'am too on first build of pie with january security patch.I hope we'll recieve it soon.

5 days away with no WiFi or mobile data and the disappointment i felt when i got a connection and saw no update could be heard all around North Yorkshire.

There was a February update in some countries, including mine, Denmark. But it didn't solve the compass problem and other issues. That was issued on around 20 February if I remember correctly. So perhaps there will a March update this week. Surely they can't keep us waiting any longer?!

After some talk with the support they told me that:
The beta build still receives updates, it isn't forgot
The MR/SP require time to arrive (I already knew that, seems that their "always up to date" motto isn't true)
(For some context I will write that I'm running the beta build on an unlocked TA-1004, in Romania with a Digi Mobil SIM card and a Vodafone SIM card)

In the UK on O2. Tried changing to an old sim on talk talk. Neither helped. Still no update.

I'm in the UK, I've tried a virgin mobile sim, a giffgaff sim, an o2 sim, a talkmobile sim and I feel that no one in the UK has the update.

Same in New Zealand, still on the Jan.Security and no Official 9.
I am on the 9 Beta.
Hopefully the long delay means they are working on the rather long list of issues that have been reported.

Oh yeah I'm sure they've been doing nothing but crunching code 24/7 for the 'ol 8 since last Summer..

No, I think whatever they implement is done within the very last week to release.

The new build of Pie better come with the March update instead assuming that HMD care enough to release the update here in the UK 😠

IN UK, After months of being on January Security update, I put my foreign Sim card and the Pie update was available straight away. Did the same on my GF's Nokia 8 (2017) , both now on Pie.
