No sound while making calls

I've been using Nokia 8.1 since last 2 months but whenever I make calls, there's no voice coming from opposite person. I cannot even hear ringing sound. The person who I make calls picks up the phone but can't hear the voice. It happens only when I make calls to anyone but when I receive calls, I'm able to hear the voice of opposite persons. Does anyone facing this issue?

No never ever had such an issue with my 8.1. It might be a hardware issue if it happens all the time. You should visit a nearby Nokia Service Centre. You will get better help there and hopefully solve your problem.

@Argho Sarkar it's not a hardware issue. If it was, it would have happened with incoming call also. It happens only with outgoing calls. It might be a software or network issue I guess.

@Tushar Gaikwad I never faced such a issue so I just made a guess and yes I agree with you if it happened with incoming calls too then only it could have been a hardware issue. But this is not the case. It must be a network issue or a software issue.

I have a Nokia G21 and I cannot hear a ringing noise when calling someone. I only know the call got through when the person answers or I get their message bank.

Volume is turned up.

I have tried everything I can. Any suggestions please?
