Fingerprint problem

Dear HMD Engineer,
I'm exciting to use a Nokia 9 right now. However, the fingerprint reader seems have a serious problem, it could unlock by any fingers even if the fingerprint does not really added on my phone (that someone else could unlock my phone without my permission). I'm wondering if that's a seriously safety risk, if that's a software problem, please repair that as soon as possible.

    Hi Zeyu, I don't won a Nokia 9 but I've learned via this forum that HMD Global has released a new update which takes some action on the fingerprint issue and a few other issues. So, have you tried updating the device already?
    Or are you from China? In that case the update might not be available. If you have the Android One variant then using the VPN will help. Otherwise, you will have to wait for them to release The update to Chinese (localized and non-Android One firmware).
