Yes, it's frequent for me too. Sorry I didn't experience that earlier. Just now it was like 20 mins white screen then it restarted.

This thing seems similar to the previous developer preview (beta3). After installing beta 3, my phone did restart randomly. The following day, i reseted it and the problem was resolved. However after I had done another reset as my phone was overwhelming  with apps, i knew i've just messed my precious phone up. It started restarting unintentionally. Again another reset was performed and everything was fixed ))) mẹ nó mệt )
Tip: perform a factory reset whenever your devices are out of order.

It was actually after I factory reset my 8.1, it started getting freezes with a white screen and restarted almost after 15-20 mins and it happened 3 times within 6-8 hours

Yes., I faced the same issue. However when I tried to use earphone with mic, there is no issues.

Yes.  Sideload can be done with the following items in place.

1. An SD card with the file.
2. A data cable.
3. A charger.

Steps:

1. With the above items connected, power off the device.
2. Press and hold [Volume Up] and then press and hold [Power].  Wait until the device vibrates to release the buttons.
3. In "Recovery Mode", press and hold the [Power] button and then click [Volume Up] once.  Release the buttons and a menu should appear.

Now you can choose "apply update update from external SD card".

My phone media volume stucks at a level of 3 or 4 and both settings app and volume button cant help, the bar changes but volume stay  unchange

Hi guys, am experiencing something strange with my Vodafone.de Multi-SIMs... I recently had te Nokia 8.1 on Pie and all was fine. I applied the upgrae to Q via Beta3 to Beta5 sucessfully - but I noticed the phone to try GSM, connect briefly (see the triangle and Vodafone.de), then off (triangle vanishes and Service not available) and cycling - until it decides to boot into recovery. The recovers message in red says "Android system could not be loaded. Your data is possibly corrupt... try again, back to factory" 
At first I swapped the sim to the other Multi - and now the phone behaved fine - until I rebooted, now I have both SIMs behave the same. I can also swap to any other SIM (I also have t-mobile) and the phoen keeps working fine - unfortunately I only have one multi sim contract and only on vodafone to try...
Anyone else experiencing something alike??

Don't be alarmed! But make sure you're safely roll back to 9. I have had this issue too, but its not related to sim cards i think! At first i hesitated to flash but i ultimately did, i was happy that the problems others mentioned did not occur to me,so i started to restore my backed up apps through my google account, it was about 210 apps and on the mid way through this exact error came to me too, i was like **** it! and i rolled back to 9.This is something serious that the devs missed or messed up!
