Today, Pixel, Essential and other devices on Android Q Developer Preview Programme started receiving the Android Q Beta 4 build Over The Air. According to reports, the new build comes with various fixes and more stability. When is HMD releasing the new build Over the Air on Nokia 8.1 so that users of the device on the Developer Preview Programme can download it?

The July date published before today on Nokia developer page for the Over The Air build is not in line with today's release. The page should be updated to reflect today's release.

What does Google's OTA release has to do with HMD's? Naturally Google was supposed to be the first one to release that.
The Nokia developer page talks about when HMD will release a next update, that's in July, no hard dates yet.
But what i am told is that new update packages in 5xxx and 4xxx release are up. So, they should be getting a rollout in the next few days, provided things go as planned.

HMD developer page that announced July as date for OTA release was published days before Google released the Beta 4 via OTA and the page talks about past Beta 3 and not the present Beta 4. Also, the OTA release concerns HMD because it's Nokia 8.1 is part of the Android Q Developer Preview Programme and other brands like Essential who are also part of the programme have started rolling out the update Over The Air to their participating smartphones
