Touch Freeze issue -Try this solution

Friends, after doing the following yesterday I got rid of screen freezing problem. Please give a try though I don't know the logic behind it.

I Enabled Developer Options by

Settings-system-advanced-about phone-kept on tapping 'build no' until it enabled

I switched on 'show taps' 

Settings-system-advanced-developer options- show taps

From this point I did not face any issue of freezing.  After few hours I reverted back to normal by switching off developer options. There are no freezing issues till now.  Please give a try.

One more setting I did was in accessibility, I made a setting for Touch and hold delay as short. I made only these changes and I got rid of screen freeze issue. Please give a try.

I request you to once try to follow below steps.

Step 1: Go to settings >> apps and notifications >> app info >> three vertical dots >> show system>> System UI >> Force stop >> Storage >> clear cache.

Step 2: Go to settings >> apps and notifications >> app info >> three vertical dots >> show system >> Android System >> Force stop.

Step 3: Please try to force restart device by pressing volume up key and power key button for 20 sec then device will vibrate 3 time and device automatically restart

Step 4: Use your device in Safe mode once.

To activate and deactivate safe mode kindly follow below mention steps:

-: Press and Hold Power Key Button

-: Then Press and Hold Power Off Option which will appear on display

-: You will get Pop up REBOOT TO SAFE MODE>>Then Press Ok

-: Device Will restart automatically then it will start in SAFE MODE

-: RESTART DEVICE to come out from SAFE MODE

Note - in safe mode all your third party applications will be disable.

Step 5: If you do not face any problem in Safe Mode then kindly once perform factory data reset after taking proper back up it will solve your issue.

To perform Factory Data Reset follow below steps.

Go to settings >> system >> reset >> factory data reset >> reset >> done.

Friends after applying June 2019 update everything seems to be fine. Nokia / HMD has done something good it seems.

Thanks this worked for me.

And I didn`t lose all my data by doing a full factory reset.

PS. be careful not to swipe any other settings while in developer settings.

My nokia 3.1 plus is suddenly displaying lines it is not dropped or anything. Softwares security update everything is up to date.I tried Going to safe mode and turning on developer mode etc etc it didn't resolve issue and when I enter *#*#372733#*# it doesn't display anything for display test ?? Any suggestions on how to get rid of these displaying lines ?

@dileep keshava narayana you can try factory reset.

If it doesn't help, I am afraid your display is dying.
