    I don't think so. The schedule is there, late in 2019, more likely beginning of 2020...

    But that's something people always use. Update comes late, then people say maybe they'll update along with Android 10. If update comes early, then same too. How do you justify that? 😝

    Eagerly awaiting Android 10 update. I hope they do not deliver it in a rush, better to take an extra month for QA. Even Jan 2020 should be okay. However I feel monthly security updates are too much. Better if security patches are delivered once in 2 months or a quarter.

    No , monthly updates are necessary because android is very prone to malware

    Unless you are indulging in high risk behavior on your mobile phone, its not necessary monthly.

    I guess there is a good reason Google gives monthly security updates. If you read the changelogs you can see that there are many holes that get fixed EVERY month. So, in my opinion, monthly security fixes are VERY necessary and I am glad they bring them in time...
