October security patch for nokia 8.1

When nokia 8.1 will get October security patch.. After android 10 update lot of bugs..

    October security patch is out on the 8.1, I've received it on October 24th, but I'm still on Android 9 though.

    As per their release summary, they released October SP updates for Android 9 (00WW_2_59J_SP03)

    I think the bug fixes will take some time. Because some bugs need to be fixed by Google and some from Nokia.
    So the only possibility is the October SP.
    It's my assumption only.🙏🙏🙏

    @HMDLaura, if an user is still on Pie, he will see both Android 10 and October SP in the update center? Or HMD did withdraw the Android 10 update?

    For now, the Android 10 update is not available because of the bugs I think. So you will get the security patch only. Just read the changelog when updating.

    If that is true, I think a normal reaction from HMD is to provide a rollback option for the users already applied the update which they did withdraw.

    Withdrawing an update is a serious step meaning HMD confirms it has many critical flaws and the best option is to stop providing it.

    However, continuing to support the previous main software branch and leaving the affected users with no rollback option for unknown period of time (yeah, major fixes do take time) is not a reputable decision IMHO.

    Yeah it's Android 10 October patch dated 21 oct. I checked the About page in settings.

    An update to shut up our mouth. So, now no one will ask the Oct update na... :D What an idea sirji...
    Though  I never asked for Oct Security Patch but still I agree with what you mentioned above

    That's the reality. By last month, most of us didn't ask the Oct security patch. Each of us waiting for the bug fixes... :s

     It's just a security patch. They have not released the MR or bug fixes.

    The headphone jack issue, I faced before 2 weeks ago. After that, it's not happened to me.
    But some others are still facing the issue.
