November security patch and andriod 10bug fix update release date????
When it's ready.
Potential winner for of post of the month i would have thought.
Waiting for the update is not a pblm, but when it comes it shouldn't b like the last one which was of 2 mb file with bugs remaining... Hope they come with something gud..
So you don't want security updates?
That 2mb update solved one of the most annoying bug in Android 10 associated with headset & volume. So don't think that bigger update (in terms of size) is always better. Even the small patches will get the work done.
The one for October i got on the 6th of November. Nokia is late..
Not late, as far as Android One programme states that OEM's have 90 days to publish updates.
Sorry but you're almost right. Monthly updates for Pixel phones and Android one phones.
All of these layers are reinforced by security updates. We have an established monthly update cycle for Pixel devices, as well as those under the Android One program. In addition, Android Enterprise Recommended devices are updated at least every 90 days. We also share these updates and vulnerabilities in a comprehensive security bulletin for our partners and users.

That what you say about the dates i know, that's why i mentioned it. Security patches should be rolled out in the same month of release. Otherwise you always are a month behind.
Even Samsung is faster with their S10 line. And those phones are not Android one.
That is very open to interpretation.

For me that means Google, as a company has an update cycle it sticks to, no where does it implicitly state OEMs have to have to push the updates the second they are available.
I don't say a second after but at least within the same month.
Not for all, still some have that problem
Security updates with annoying bugs... No i dont want...
Go buy another mid-range handset that's NOT Android One and enjoy getting your identity stolen with no security patches.
Hey GTR 12, there's no harm in asking. No corporate house provides services out of charity. You don't have to be so rude.
You didn't ask, you just said that you don't want it.
If I'm being rude, so are you.
Even the latest security patch does nt mean your identity is not gonna get stolen, thats why they push update every month,. AND i never said i dont want update, i said i need to be free from bug.. And i dont know why u remind me of certain people in our country who keep on saying others 'Go to pakistan'..
@Rashidk You clearly said "Security updates with annoying bugs...no I don't want"
Every update WILL have bugs, be it little or big, there's no such thing as a bug free update.
Dude that's what i said... " Annoying bugs"...not just some small bug... Before android 10 i had no issues with anything... But now the phone is toooo laggy, sometimes it feels like its lower than snapdragon 625 chipset... If i can get that old smoothness and speed and the camera which never lagged, i would prefer it over security updates. The phone has to b silk smooth like it was before. My phone even hangs,so that i have to restart... Nokia has to come with that update after which i can feel the android one's smoothness and beauty...
@Rashidk no point in having a conversation with you if you keep flip-flopping all over the place.
You want updates but security updates are a lower priority, then you want security updates. Then you want updates with no "annoying bugs", now you prefer stability updates over security updates, what next? you want pigs to fly?
I think u should read my comments from starting again... If u really want to understand what i am saying... And dont get annoyed, u need nt reply me... You dont have to reply for the sake of replying... Peace out...
Did you do a factory reset after the update to Android 10? If not maybe you can try that. Don't forget to make back ups first.
Already tried bro...
Ok, was just an idea.. :)
