How to turn on google ambient displaymode

tap on home button.

At search box of google at bottom tap on google icon.

at bottom there is one bar where DIscover / updates/search/recent/ More options available.

Tap on more option.

Go to settings in list.

Then tap Google Assistant

Then go to assistant option

scroll down and find PHONE option

Then go to AMBIENT mode in middle of list. Then turn it on. And give preferences.

Your Voice Match must be turned on. Ur language must be set on English.

If you want you can become beta tester for Google , but i wanted to say that it is quite unstable (it takes lots of time to charge the phone) because the screen is always ON ,and Nokia had disabled fast charging when the screen is off to prevent overheating.

@HMDLaura Posted steps to turn on Google ambient mode just because people can't able to find settings for it. But don't know what's the problem someone always report my answer or flag without reasons.

@Lazysince1995 i saw your steps and went through it.but even though my google app is updated but i still dont habe ambient mode optiin also i m beta tester for google app.

buddy you need update your phone not google app.

Please read more about google assistance ambient mode you will understand better. I got this feature by nov update on nokia 6.1 plus
