Thanks for helping me. does Nokia is selling fast charger?
No. The 7.2 doesn't support QuickCharge.
I have Nokia 7.2 power supply for 18 watts I use from Nokia 7.1 it seems to charge quickly
Thanks for information
Thanks for the information
But Nokia deceived us for sure !!! that did not put the power supply at 18 watts
You purchase 65W charger from market and check it.
I am agree with you
I used my charger from my Nokia 8 and my 7.2 says "charging rapidly" so I would say yes?
Same here.. maybe not officially but my 7.2 does charge faster with my my Anker 18w vs the stock 10w
It doesn't support fast charging, I tried to use my motorola fast charger but it was heating up the phone...so I don't think supports fast charging.
Nokia doesn't claim it supports quick charge or not. But actually it supports rapid charging which is similar to fast charge. With 18W nokia charger it gets charged very fast.
Snapdragon 660 supports Qualcomm Quick charge 4.0,so theoretically the charging may be limited from the software.
with original cable and 10w charger at 5V2A the software shows ~1,8A amperes going into the battery, which means ~0,5C charging current. From my point of view it's ok for a ~3500mA battery. 1C charging current heats up the battery which in time minimizes the usage cycles.Maybe the battery doesn't support fast charging very well in time,i don't know who manufactures it
My Nokia 7.2 charges from a USB-C PD charger at 9V, or from a USB-A port at 5V and over 2A if the port supports QC - in both cases the display shows "charging rapidly". When plugged into a standard 5V 2.4A USB-A port it charges at normal speed, so I would say that it does support fast charging, at the lower end of that description - whether it actually makes much difference is another question!
Here is what I use: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quick-Charge-QC-3-0-Smart-5-Port-USB-Charger-Adapter-Lcd-Display-Power-W6E8/153882208681?hash=item23d41829a9:m:mXDKWmOCQPKkmhQ1FfXdfsQ
