Your provider needs to.. Ask them

It's voice over wifi and outdoor you can voice over LTE, but most of providers worldwide don't support Nokia for vOLTE or vowifi.

After the 222,2 mb december update the options for LTE/wifi callings are missing.The icons doesn't appear in the notification bar.Worked perfectly before.
Cand someone please verify in *#*#4636#*#* that the sliders are functioning or are they greyed out.Thanks
@ionut84 Look their is option under network settings for enabling WiFi calling option. You can also turn off it under the same setting
The VoLTE toggle still works for me. But for some reason, VoLTE service is actually not working. I mean, I don't see the VoLTE icon in the status bar or the pull-down.
Meanwhile, my carrier doesn't offer VoWIFI, so, that's kinda normal to stay greyed. This is still a possible update issue I believe.

as I said,in the evening i updated the system and in the morning at work the icons for volte/vowifi were missing from the upper bar and the problems came along for me because the 3G voice signal is very bad were i work and I need to go out of the office to take a call.Before update I was using voWifi flawlessly for 2 month since i bought the phone
I tested my sim in a collegue phone and it isn't a problem from the provider
As you can see from the screenshots,the option that were available to turn on/off (those blue switches before the update) are now greyed out,and in the network setting the options that @Aju Krishnan pointed me are missing out .I'm from Romania and I think not all countries receive the same updates at the same time
In the meantime I received January update,I tried cleaning up all caches,another sim from another provider and nothing changed.Just my nerves...And there isn't a simple way to rollback to previous state...
This is a major hit for me because call quality is a very impotant function on a phone and if it doesnt get resolved somehow in the near future it will be the end for this phone from my perspective .
It's 2020 and I have no time to deal with banal things like this.That's why I bought an Android 1 phone in the first place when there were hundreds of chinesse options that works,but doesn't receive software suppport
For those having a working VoLTE, can you please test it with an operator which also has 3G and 2G networks. As such, please ignore Jio in India or other operators which have 4G-only network.
The operators with 4G-only do not maintain a list of devices and software versions where VoLTE should work. So, these operators force enable VoLTE for all customers as that's the only way a customer can make call.
The problem is with operators who have 3G and 2G networks alongside 4G. They are very selective about which devices, on which software release should be allowed to use VoLTE. The VoLTE on my Nokia 7.2 using Vodafone-Idea SIM in India does not work after the recent update even when the "Enhanced 4G mode" is enabled.
.I'd be keen to know if VoLTE works fine with some operators having a variety of networks and not just 4G.
