Very slow WiFi when Bluetooth connected

My new 4.2's WiFI drops from ~45Mb/s to 1.5Mb/s when a Bluetooth device is connected. Anyone got a fix or is this a known bug that'll likely not get fixed?

  • The same on my end :/

  • You can change the WiFi router channel. Why? simplifying the explanation Bluetooth and Wifi operate on close frequencies but with different powers.

I have similar issue when Bluetooth is ON, WiFi speed is slow or network is disconnected. Look like high interference on frequency 2.4GHz between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi :-(

Other smartphones have not this problem

Same here, in my home the speed drops to around 10% on home wifi; 40% on my work place wifi. My router has changed channels several times and I always get 10% (the width is fixed at 40Mhz however and cannot be changed, doh). Other mobile devices at home (also nokia 2.2) do not suffer from this huge drop of speed, they stay within reasonable 50%-90%, some older devices suffer no drop at all (samsung j5 2016).
