Maybe I was lucky with the hardware of mine. Like I said before, most of the issues people reporting here didn't affect me at all.
Maybe I was lucky with the hardware of mine. Like I said before, most of the issues people reporting here didn't affect me at all. So for me, still after those at least two years of usage, still happy. Only thing, the copper got damaged a bit from falls and stuff. But nothing else, and that's no biggie for me.
God was very kind to you 😄.
Same here no difference :P
Then, what is this? 😆https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/hmd-global/nokia-camera-new/nokia-camera-new-91-10-0010-60-release/nokia-camera-91-10-0010-60-android-apk-download/#file
You can't capture images after you install that version, because 7+ isn't included in that version (credit FIH). We have already tried that. It reminds me of a quote :" I'm the headmaster of the high school in which you study."
Same here. Only some times screen was unresponsive.
Screen unresponsiveness is not that frequent once in s while. With the current build the phone is usable. With nect MR it will get better and best.
@AniketThakur Could you tell me if this MR fixes the device reset problem? (My 6.1 Plus when I'm browsing it restarts and presents some scary animations when doing it as if the screen is flashing)
Nope, it doesn't fix restart problem
@AniketThakur When is the mr update coming? It's 26 April now n and is it actually fixing all the bugs?
Did you EVER get a patch that fixed ALL bugs 🤔
I can't say exactly when and MR has restarting bug so you might get sp only
Yes , when when we got android 8.1 update (dual volte stand by update)
We will be getting SP only in April, MR delayed to May.
Thanks @Akilesh & @singhnsk for infos (plz fix tagging bug 🙁) @sina abkari
Such a useless devoloper team Nokia has. They delayed it from March to april and now to may. Such lack of punctuality
Nice... Now I am changing my phone.
😒Now time to leave Nokia.
Worst software support from Nokia
Will not buy Nokia in future
Awww. This COVID19 pandemic greatly affected all services around the world. It's understandable. At least there are still updates.
You haven't,but instead we didn't need to wait half a year for our devices to become functional... When you will have a constant screen freezes 15 plus times in a day and sound distortion, then you'll understand why people are so frustrated. Nokia is the worst company out there in the terms of software support... We don't have ability to even unlock the bootloader...I can't even sell this device because it has unbearable buggy os on it. No-one even wants to buy this phone because of it's bad reputation.. Nokia is a joke of a company.
Some bugs are really annoying, but there is no other option: change your mobile, or wait. I chose to wait, I can't throw $200 away, per month.
Also, I had a similar experience with Asus, in that case the bug affected the microphone and users didn't receive any update.
The one and only different experience I had, it was with BQ, the Spanish brand that now doesn't produce smartphones anymore.
On their support forum, you practically had real time answers and fixes came out regularly. A very serious customer care, technicians worked with passion and devices where interesting (talking about aquaris x pro and x2 pro).
But they gave up, and that's the proof that if you want to sell a lot, you can't spend all your time fixing minimal bugs and considering every request comes from your customers.
If you want to be a big brand, you must sell good devices and keep them updated, but you know that as soon as you'll be out with a new model, you'll have new customers. And so on. It's a general rule, Nokia is part of this.
So just wait. If they are considering a MR, it will be avaiable sooner or later.
If they don't, sooner or later you'd changed your mobile in any case.
It's hmd using name of Nokia. Sound distortion is fixed by the way but they messed up another thing. Immature developers...
Believe me or not, I had several other brands and ALL of them were unsatisfying here and there with hardware, software, support. The only one that was really ahead of that all were the Google Nexus 4 and 5, which I owned, too. All the others (especially Motorola/Lenovo) will drive you crazy when it comes to updates...
Ik that moto g5+ was more trash in updates
HMD is being that guy in the mobile market who says, Heads is mine ( which is I'll not provide bug free and timely updates ) and Tails is also mine ( which is I'll not let you unlock bootloader as well )
So the fix for audio is part of the MR (what does MR stand for?) that is now due in May some time? Time to buy another brand of phone in that case. They are getting as bad as Samsung for slow updates and fixes.
MR as in Maintenance Release.
I'm getting closer and closer to get an iPhone SE 2, or 11 when the 12 gets released.
Software updates are the upmost important thing to me and I won't mind spending 550€ on a phone that I will have updated for 5 years or more than keep spending 450 every 2 on android...
Yeah I'm looking at iPhones myself. I'd have snatched up the iPhone SE 2 if the screen was a little bigger.
I switched from an Android tablet to an iPad a couple of years ago, and its amazing getting frequent updates when everybody else does!
