Why don't you use the vpn trick? Take out your sim,turn off WiFi, clear the data for the following apps, Google app, Google framework, Google play services, location services reboot the phone and turn WiFi back on, connect the vpn to a country that is getting the update and check for updates, it worked on my Nokia 4.2 in England before it was released here

You can use any vpn app it doesn't matter as they do the same job just make sure to change the country to one on the first wave

Welcome! Unfortunately until @HMDLaura formally announces the second wave nobody can be sure when, but if you do the above method I provided in a previous comment that should get you up to date 😀

Hi @Shibby,

Yes the software is the same. However it adjusts configuration based on your location and your network operator which is why operator/country approvals are needed.

Wave 2 rollout for Nokia 6.2 Android 10 update has started! All Markets that have approved the Android 10 release that weren’t in Wave 1 will now start to receive the update - 10% by today, 50% by May 17th and 100% by May 19th.

Please note that we can only release the update to markets that have approved the build.

Wave 2 markets pending approvals:

• Ecuador - Movistar
• El Salvador - Claro
• Germany
• Greece - Cosmote

That sounds great, right now only SMS, missed calls, upcoming Alarm and Gmail work on my 6.2, Whatsapp and other Apps don´t trigger the Notification Light...

Pakistan was not in Wave 1 though we recieved here in Pakistan after 4 days of the launch of Wave 1. Without the VPN method.

I am so disappointed with Nokia and the communication regarding the update. What do I have to do with network operators, I bought my cell phone without any branding, I am not even using a german SIM card? I can not even install the update manually without losing my warranty on Nokia phones...

Can you at least tell us who is responsible for the approval in German market if it's not HMD? I'm tired of waiting ...😪

With my phone at least it seems that the notification light doesn't work with some 3rd party apps which normally show notifications in notification area.

I did a hard reset after my camera and associated apps weren't working properly after the update but the problem is still there after the reset. Anyone else struggling with this?

Hello, after updating to android 10 on my nokia 6.2, the notification light does not work properly, for example: if the notification light for the watch is turned off, the notification light is disabled for messages too!, something that did not happen on android 9!

Please Nokia / Google fix this bug
