Ufter Android 10 update i don't get any notifications at all. I did everything possible to fix it but nothing helped. NOKIA, please do something!!!

That's not correct, the Nokia 3 2017 did get updated to Android 9. You may be getting confused with the Nokia 2 which only got updated to Android 8.

This is the thread for the 3.1+ update to Android 10, not the 5.1+. Please stop posting about the 5.1+ and let the 3.1+ owners discuss the problems they are experiencing with the Android 10 update, I have no doubt that you will get the chance to discuss many problems with the 5.1+ update to Android 10 in the next few weeks.

Same issue .. Not getting notification untill I open the app .. if I would not open the application not able to get notifications ..

Notifications are comming untill you have to open the application .. No push up no pop up no notification kindly fix it please as soon 🙏

No, that feature has not been added, and possibly it never will be (shame), though I hear it might be possible in the hidden developer options.

After upgrading to Android 10 on my Nokia 3.1 Plus, the notifications are somehow not appearing. I receive notifications only when I open WhatsApp or any other apps. Notifications from apps like Truecaller, News etc. are not being received. It was working fine before(on Android 9). Anyone else facing any such issue? What is the resolution for this?

there is a new feature called silent notifications, you need to disable it for each app in settings

When phone is updated to android 10 popup notification has been closed. Notification does not appear till that app is not opened. I tried battery optimisation also settings>> apps and notifications>>special app access>>battery optimisation>>selected all apps and then selected that apps which need to keep running and receive notifications and selected not optimised but it also does not worked.
And another problem is also with nokia 3.1 plus from the beginning is ghost touch. Phone is getting self operated.

I did disable the silent mode on apps but it's somehow still isn't working. Somebody please help me. I am a working women and I need to be able to get the notifications since everything is now online. Fgs guide me through this before I break my phone :/

Thanks for android 10 upgrade. Things are smooth so far.
Except the notifications as pointed out by multiple users over here.
Also the recently opened apps and search bar in the app drawer can't be turned off.
Please look into it.

I live in Virginia, USA and I am disappointed my Nokia 3.1 Plus still did not get Android 10. Why? Instead it got 2 new updates installed - Digital Well being and Wifi Calling. Was Android 10 pulled due to the Notification issue? It is not listed here either: https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_int/security-updates

Hi @davinp,
Despite having the same name your 3.1+ is not the same model as the global 3.1+, you can see the differences in the specs section at the bottom of both of these pages:
@HMDLaura, this is a perfect illustration of why 1) there should be different forum sections here for the US, Global and Chinese versions of this phone and 2) that this idiotic naming convention has got to stop - when the US models are different, give them totally different names, not the same or even similar names.

Yes, the USA version sold by Cricket Wireless uses a Qualcomm chip, not a Mediatek. This is main difference. I did get April patch update.
