Why are you doing this?
It won't, because it's not the whole Android 9 ROM, just the update...
If you're on Android 10, this won't take you back on Android 9.
This method is for installing system UPDATES, not for major system downgrades.

You're telling me you downgraded your phone from Android 10 to Android 9 this way?

Try going to Nokia Care asking them for downgrade, either that or waiting till October for the update.
After that I'll just throw it in trash. There goes my 140€. And I'm a student, so it may not seem like a lot of money, but it's a lot for me to just throw away.
So, in conclusion, no HMD!

@himanshu suthar don't update to Android 10!
You will kill all your notifications from banking apps, facebook, viber, whats app, instagram....etc.
3rd party apps notifications will stop working
You will also get a "efuse blown" message when powering the phone on and there are battery issues
Also bluetooth issues and there will be a wifi network called NVRAM =0 permanently showing
Trust me...stick to Android 9.
These people killed the 3.1 plus with the uodate and there will be no patch to solve.
Buy a Xiaomi or a Samsung.

😑 Android 11 released and we're still fed up with android10

Fed up of these people.
Even with messenger and whats app open in background, the app is killed
Just tested messenger and whats app and even open in background, I have to open them to the screen for them to update and receive messages
This is absolute mess what they did
These idiots couldn't even work in grape harvesting

Yeah, good luck with that.... We should be happy if we get that maintenance patch to fix these issues at all... If we don't get it till October, it's over. As if we flushed our money down the toilet...
They're absolute worst company ever!

This is the most unstable update ever.. the fingerprint problem which occurs once in a while is really annoying.. once it starts and my phone gets password locked; it starts to reject my own password till I restart the device.. among loads of other bugs both small and big. I've just learnt to live with them 😷. Nokia 3.1 plus must be compensated with Android 11😠😠.

I think there's seriously going to be a big update... a large sized update because there are a lot of bugs.
