Call recording - Now available on Android One Nokia smartphones
Hello everyone,
We're happy to announce that multiple Android One Nokia smartphones in India have received the call recording feature on Google’s Phone app. The feature will let you record voice calls so you can capture important information quickly and then refer to what was said later.
To activate the recording, simply press the ‘Record’ button while on your call. A disclosure is played when recording begins and ends to notify all participants and ensure they are aware the feature is being used.
To access the call recording later, simply visit the ‘Recents’ tab. If a call was recorded, you will see a ‘Recorded’ label below the contact’s name or phone number. Once you tap the call log entry, the call recording player will be shown with a play button. Call recordings are saved on your phone – not in the cloud – for convenient playback and privacy.
The call recording feature is now available on a number of Android One Nokia smartphones in India. To get the new feature, update to the latest version of the Phone app from the Play Store. Your Nokia smartphone must also be running Android 10.

Android One Nokia smartphones in India that have received this feature include Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 2.2.

That's a nice thing. Thanks for sharing. I am getting the record option on my Nokia 9 PureView since 2 days now. 😁
The only problem is it alerts the opposite person that we are recording. 😅

There's no way to do it. You can do it if you root your phone but that's a long procedure and only those can do it who know about this stuff.

Call recording working but some automated audio it happens everytime I'm make call recording.. replicate to other end also this voice

That's to make sure that the person you're calling knows that you're recording them, otherwise that could be illegal.

Need better updates.......like want change in using call recording feature..... another side person not know about that while recording the call....also need dual app settings by default in nokia mobile phones ........ And also my saved contact sawing video call option ,but when I use video call option ,that video call done by duo video calling app ,not direct by the phone app,but when I used the keypaid and insert the number that not saved that time video calling option use the phone app and connect the video call by using phone app ......gave some solution for how to use video call by default by the phone app by the all saved and unsaved numbers ...... because when I want use duo app I'll open the app and make the video call ...I don't want it's direct from the phone app,that phone app make video calll using duo app ...

There is call recorder in phone which records the call but it also says "Your call is now being recorded." to the other person also who is on the call. Any solution for this?

Nothing can be done about that. Google has made it that way and that's the correct way as per the law

It's a hidden directory, you can't get to it without hacking your phone and getting root access.

HI,
I own a Nokia 7 plus. While I am recording the call, suddenly recording stopped by itself and also the call was disconnected. When I try to find out the recorded file in the call history, the file was missing. After rebooting the cellphone, I found all the file that I have recorded earlier was also missing from the call history. While I checked the phone app, the record button is also missing from the phone.
Please help me with a solution.......

When you are switching on the call record thing... Just do one thing... Cough loudly so as to suppress the IVR audio... 🤣
Joking BTW... It's illegal to record a call without consent (other than for legal purpose). And hence the person needs to be made aware about their call being recorded.

Recently discovered a workaround to disable the "Call is being recorded" announcement. Let's see for how long it lasts before Google issues a fix 😂
