Nokia 7.2 Camera stops working every few hours after Android 10 Update

First 3 months I was happy with this phone but after that it's been lot's of dissapointment... I had really really good faith on HMD, but can't say the same anymore. This camera problem is unbelievable that it has still not been fixed. And that is only one part of the story.

Camera not working properly in my nokia 7.2 everytime it should be restarted to work normally. Restarting my device more than 6 times a day.

This issue is be detected after opening instagram application. If I am not using instagram application camera works normally no issue. once i open instagram application and close the application camera doest work. Plz fix the issue fast

Uninstalling and reinstalling Instagram worked for me. Running for 3 days without camera issues now.

Just updated my Nokia 7.2 to Android 10, not knowing it will be the biggest mistake I ever made for a while .. battery sucks, drain too fast , flashlight isn't working , 📷 got stalked only showing black .. damn Nokia. Stick to your keypad that's what you know how do best .. **** you Nokia,

Same here. For me it seems to be a problem limited to Snapchat, every other App using the Camera is able to do this, without breaking it.

I disabled the stock camera app and loaded Gcam.

At least it's reliable and the Nightshot is amazing but I'm not sure which resolution it uses. It's set to high but I suspect it's only using 12mp.

They will never fix this bug and even less when Android 11 comes out for 7.2 and we realize the freaking bug is still there and ruining some good shots / spontaneous videos of something happening worth to be captured. Forget about it and next time buy another brand.

I agree 🤣 it only gets disabled when I urgently want to capture a photo or a video 😂 the moment I instantly want to open the camera, the camera gets disabled 😂 that's my luck 🤣🤣😂😂

Yup me too having this problem for the first time this week after 9 (frustrating) months of ownership with this phone. Just can't get over how generally glitchy it is, random little problems that crop up, half of which seem to be fixed by a reboot for a few days. I'm starting to seriously consider taking this back for a refund and getting something else. Currently looking at reviews for the OnePlus Nord N10. Anyone got any thoughts on that?

This is still the issue, goes blank after a few hours and have to restart the phone to get it to work again.

I have the same issue too. Flashlight inactive and camera doesn't start either and just shows black. Only way I found to get the camera working again is to restart the device. Disappointing that Nokia still didn't fix this issue. Seems to be frequent on many devices.
