Will Nokia come up with any smartphone with glass back on to which I can slip on a slim magnetic mod case which blends with the design and looks like it's part of the smartphone .

    Can't see it. And probably wouldn't sell in big enough numbers. Any rubber backed case these days are moulded tight enough to hug their handsets. And would probably offer more shock absorption than any hard alternative. Bring back the old Nokia Lumia polycarbonate bodies. That's half your gorilla glass vulnerability gone. I prefer a plain black leather (or PU) flip wallet case. A tenner on Amazon is all you need these days. Are you thinking something like the LG G8X Dual Screen mod. That would be pretty cool. The ability to have two screens and run two full screen apps side by side. And offer it as a freebie to the new Nokia 9.3 when it eventually arrives. Wishful thinking?

    By mod back case I ment something like the Moto z series phones did with a magnetically attachable back case not for protection but for style, they called it Moto style mod.

    Yeah. I see what you mean. I forgot about the Moto Mods. Maybe if they were competitively priced with some unusual materials/textures (woods, ceramics, carbon fiber, etc) that could create a talking point.

    A lot of the lower Nokia models are keenly priced and the money might be better spent towards the next model up. I prefer a soft touch case that protects front and rear. But then I am hardly a spring chicken. Lol
