I think the issue lies with the com.evenwell.emm app, which kills the background tasks, if you leave your phone unused for a while the emm app might be killing some core parts of the system UI that when you try to use your phone, the services take a little bit to start running like normal again
As far as we know, the com.evenwell.emm app is at the fault for some, if not all issues....
Just remove all the packages from the below text files using adb, this should fix most, if not all the issues.....
what adb command is needed to do that?
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 your.package.name , replace the your package name with the name of the package you wanna remove
Hello, I have a day with the new update for the nokia 1, but after the update the computer became very slow and restarts only when the application does not respond, does anyone know how I can return to android 9 go? it worked better than with this update
I'm actually really liking Android 10 the longer I use it. My phone seems more responsive than it was with Pie now that I have figured out the slow wake up from standby.
My Nokia 1 was working perfectly until I accepted the Android 10 update. Oh boy do I regret hitting the "yes" button. Since the upgrade I have had no end of problems with the phone hanging, not being able to answer calls, phone not ringing, not able to set specific ringtones to callers etc. If I just do a factory reset, will I be able to set the phone back to an earlier version of Android? By the way, the computer no longer recognises my phone via the Nokia Suite software either, so doing an adb erasure of files has not been possible. Help!
Did you factory reset after installing the update?, because if you update this phone to android 10 and not factory reset it, stuff will break, making your usage experience unsatisfactory............
After the Android 10 update, everything is hanging and crashing, sometimes the phone is not being unlocked, it's restarting instead.
Did you factory reset your phone after updating?
OK, this is what you do. Save all your volatile files like photographs, videos, ringtones etc. to your computer or online storage. Do a backup from your phone to Google storage. Then do a factory reset and follow the prompts. When it has all finished, copy your volatile files back in and you should have Android 10 up and running.
This is what we have to do after a MR update just for good measure LOL
Hi since the Android 10 update i cannot update any apps it just says insufficient storage space when there is plenty of space and i have hardly any apps on the nokia 1 phone. Ive tried clearing cache and ive taken out the sd card incase its corrupted but nothing works please help anyone ?
OK, try this. Copy all the files on your SD card that you want to keep, like photos, videos, music or whatever. Do a backup (Settings - System - Advanced - Backup). Put the SD card back in your phone and then do a factory reset (Settings - System - Advanced - Reset). Follow the prompts all the way through - there will be a few long gaps where nothing seems to happen but be patient. When it has finished turn off, turn on again and all should be well. If that doesn't work then take a big hammer and ... :-)
Thanks for your help it seems to have worked so fingers crossed thanks again
This is not new, we had the same issue by updating to Pie from Oreo, what I recommend is to remove all SIM cards, SD cards and back your files up, then update the phone and after updating, factory reset it, and start fresh, after the setup is done, put your files, SIM and SD cards back in, then use the new software for the best experience............
When we got android 10 update in Nokia 5.1
You got the update before the Nokia 1 did
Thank you ❤️ for Nokia 1 ,ANDROID 10.
A question for nokia 1 users: Did you get the patch for July 2020?!, And the one for August?
Good morning, I'm contacting you because my mobile phone has become basically unusable since the Android10 update: apps are very slow to load and often crash, the phone itself often doesn't unlock by pressing the relevant button and you need to restart it, several times a day.
Please note that we are talking about a product still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, with about 2.9 GB of free internal memory on a total of 8GB.
An attempt of formatting was useless, the phone does not return to the native OS but sticks to Android10.
The chat support first recommended me a procedure that basically involves deleting Google Play Services cache and Chrome data, but it didn't help, then it advised me to downgrade and go back to the previous OS, but it wasn't able to tell me the procedure, only that I shouldn't have agreed to the update, like it was something forbidden to accept an official manufacturer’s update!!!
Since it’s impossible to send an email to the support (it always, always, always crashes), I sent the phone to your technicians, being under warranty: they are sending it back to me, according to them there is no problem.
There’s a valid warranty and a product not working due to an official update distributed by Nokia, do I have to take other ways to get the support the manufacturer is bound to by law?
There must be some other issue that you have with your phone. I've never had 10 crash on me. All seems nice and quick and responsive on my Nokia1.
Downgrading is not officially a right given to the users so, use SP flash tools and do it yourself using a windows pc
Sounds like a good idea, by the way I'm no expert of phone cracking, can you recommend me another forum where the procedure is described? Thanks!😃

Hello, after I upgraded my Nokia 1 from android 9 to android 10, it seems that the phone became loggy and can't read the SD card. Apps are crashing or slow to open also the UI. I wish to downgrade my phone back to android 9 because it was better android version for this type of phone. Please send me an instruction on how can I do it. Thank you!
Android 10 is great after you remove all the evenwell apps using adb shell, the phone gets laggy because the evenwell apps kill some po processes related to the system, that is the reason your phone gets laggy because the system related services restart.... You notice this the most when you try to use the phone after letting it idle for a while.... And I recommend that you first of all factory reset your phone when you update it, after that, copy your data to a PC or Pi or whatever, then put the SD in the phone and then format it, after that, put it back in your PC and copy all the previously backed up files, and you are good to go.... Also, Android 9 had worse issues because in Android 9 all evenwell apps work, but on Android 10 only the EMM so works, the other apps are prevented from working in this update, if you still want to go back to Android 9, just download a stock rom and use SP flash tools.
Wish someone could give us a method to get root access on this phone, so that we can underclock this thing and get more battery life.... Hope this wish comes true, by Nokia offering offical bootloader unlock....
Android 10 only the EMM so work.what is EMM?
