HMD are on the hunt for a new head of accessories sales operations, presumably because they just noticed after 3 years that Mr Ben Jen wasn't doing much in terms of sales or them being global...
Hopefully this means that there will soon be some way to buy accessories for these Nokia phones! (Yes, I posted the link too late and now the job advert has expired on Linkedin, but if you're clever you'll find the original page 😉)
But in other news Nokia have signed a new licensing deal with another company, RichGo, for them to produce Nokia branded audio accessories - this is independent of HMD AFAICT.
But these are apparently only for sale in China and Asia Pacific... so I've got no idea what these two news articles mean for the availability of Nokia phone accessories, it's as clear as mud! 😕

The design of Nokia branded headsets by RichGo is no where close to headsets from hmd global. I would love to see more accessories from HMD Global.
BTW, remember coloud? I just visited their Facebook and found out that they shut down in 2018. The made really beautiful headsets for Nokia.

Colourful Headphones and speakers. They were available in bright Lumia colours. 😁

I just looked them up and they look cool! I like the way they managed to match the Lumia colours so well. Now, wouldn't accessories in the same colours as the HMD phones also be cool?

HMD and colorful phones? Yeah we only see them in adverts and on website. Otherwise it is charcoal charcoal everywhere :| Whoever thinks that the charcoal is the only attractive color must really look elsewhere for inspiration.
Then... HMD and accessories? We need to be dreaming :-)
Coloud products were heavily featured on some old Lumia ads as well:

My favourite one was of Lumia 525. The music in these ads is just amazing. Thanks for sharing. I like to watch these ads and go back in time. 😁
