Hi everyone,

A lot of you are aware that today is World Photography Day. To celebrate this day we are launching a special #ShotOnNokia Community challenge for you.

Currently, we all have been experiencing challenges in this very unusual time, but there is always something we can be grateful for. So this time we ask you to show us a photo of what you are grateful for – this can be a location, moment, person or whatever comes to your mind. Show us what you are grateful for and why – even small things can lighten up our days and we can appreciate them for so many reasons, we would love to hear your story.

How to participate:

- Take a photo of something you're grateful for with your Nokia Phone

- Post it in the comments below. Also insert a short description with the reason why you chose this picture.

- Let us know which phone you used and include the hashtag #ShotOnNokia

We hope to see many entries.

Best regards,

  • Wow!

    Very interesting and challenging theme...👍

But it would be good if we can know the deadlines ie the last date to submit entries

Very beautiful shots he captured from his Nokia 5.1 Plus! Some photos are taken from that external lens and the rest from the phone. Believe me, macro comes better than expected.

  • The First one has been captured by macro lens and rest are captured by using Pro mode👍

Yes It can be captured 😊 by practice more and more

  • Yes i know, we can capture macro in Pro mode far better than using a macro lens.. external macro lens degrades the quality!

  • When I was went to my native village I shot it... Nature will give us happiness and life.

    So love it 👍

    Shot on nokia 8.1

No doubt that there are many stunning shots here...🙂 Still very few related to the theme. 🙁 Also don't forget to tell the story behind the picture...😃

That's right...5.1 plus can take good pictures. 😅 I made a macro lens using an old magnifying lens. Quality isn't great 🤐, but gets the job done. One can even use their specs for some macro shots 🤗

I have zero knowledge regarding specification of specs...😐️I tried taking some pictures.Yes, it helps to get closer to the subject a bit more than what the phone can, still no way near to proper macro lens 😅
