Why can't share files via WiFi direct

I previously used a Samsung device and know how to share files with WiFi direct, but in this "PURE ANDROID" Nokia device doesn't give a way to share files with WiFi direct, you can check it yourself, although there is an option under "WiFi" not possible to share files (receive or send) though devices connected with each other.

Let me know that your device can!! I'm currently using Nokia 4.2

Yes, that true. HMDs pure Android immediately do not give possibility to sharing files in Wi-Fi Direct.

Is somebody know in Google Pixel is this possible without download app?

First. You need download app to use Wi-Fi Direct and install app on both devices.

Second. Turn ON Localisation in your both smartphones.

    Third. Enjoy :-)

Ps Wi-Fi Direct is really fast compare with Bluetooth. Tested also on Nokia 4.2 :-)

I think you should use nearby share. Much faster than bluetooth or wifi direct.

I tested 2 applications; Files by Google and Feem. Both apps need to be installed on both devices. Files by Google can be used for sharing files among Android devices only. Feem app needs to be connected to WiFi-direct device first unless the devices are connected to same network. I tested it on Windows 10 via WiFi-direct and it worked well.
