I had the same issue with my Nokia 6.2 and after searching for a little bit i found the solution all you need to do is to turn off pure view display and it will fix.

Having same problem while playing games. Not only that, the browser also sucks and it is slower than a turtle. I was looking for a best outdoor basketball and browsed for more than fifteen minutes just to get through sites, still didn't win. And finally, the job got done within three minutes on the desktop.

Try Restarting after you turn off the setting cause it really worked for me.

This happens to me quite often. When I play Call of duty mobile, sometimes its starts to lag and like 15fps...

Turning off PureView sometimes fixed it, but not all the time...

But, if you go to Settings>System>Advanced>Developer Settings, There is an option called "Enable 4x MSAA". Enabling this might fix the issue, it forces Open GL 2.0 apps like games to run 4x Smoother. Side effect of this is it will drain your battery faster...

Try this and let me know if it worked...
