Nokia 5.3 has been launched for ₹13999 in India for the base Variant with 4GB Ram and 64GB storage, which all are saying overpriced. There is no point of buying it in India.
So, my question is, is there chance of Price Drop of this Smarphone in India ??
After seeing new devices from OPPO and Vivo powered by SD460 launched at ₹13000 I don't see 5.3 as over priced. Nokia offers a clean UI and you won't get any other apps pre installed on Nokia phones apart from Google apps.
By pre-installing apps on a particular device companies are able to generate some income which helps them reduce the price. This way they can bring the cost down but users get a lot of unnecessary apps pre installed which also ruins the experience. So, Nokia 5.3 is not overpriced but it depends on how one sees it.
Coming to the possibility of receiving a price cut, No, I don't think Nokia 5.3 will get a price cut in the near future. But yeah, after a few months they may reduce the price.
Just to add, there are offers on Amazon from time to time. Right now you can claim 5% off using credit card EMI option from Kotak Mahindra bank.
Also, the Amazon Pay ICICI card will grant you 5% cashback at any point. So, you can get some cost benefits.
Similarly, keep watching Amazon for future sales and offers. There won't be static price cuts in the short run, but offers and cashbacks may make the deal sweeter.
Agree Brother 👍
In my opinion, there will be drop in price of Nokia 5.3 Phone due to Corona Virus. Because everything is getting its price down because the number of buyers are less nowadays.
In the UK the price has come down by £20 since it was released in June. It was sold at £149.99 now it is £129.99 (around 145 Euros/12,651 Rupees) on the GB Nokia website.
Hi, in South Australia as there is no more stock coming over here the Nokia 5.3 is on clearance, Officeworks have it for the lowest at $196.00 but very limited stock is available. I do agree that the price is a little high as there is no pro camera option and a low camera MP's.
Hello. The price is not overpriced, as the phone has a good memory, which is not cheap.
Overall the phone is good, but for me, its not.
I had used so many Nokia phone models in the past but Nokia 5.3 is the first ever phone to have screen retention issues and camera autofocus issues. May be I was unlucky.
