It's a good news as well as bad news.
Good news is that it is going to enhance the performance and fix those annoying bugs.(i hope so finger crossed)
Want to hear from you @Jocke.Sve about this new update.
Bad news is that now we will receive Android 11 late. (that's what i think coz they just give us an update)

Nokia informed in they Android 11 schedule last month i think, and it showed Nokia 7.2 getting it Q1/Q2 next year

Impressions about update will come in few days... 😉 At first sight no biggies but I'm using Nova Launcher so maybe I don't see it all at first sight.
Regarding Your thoughts about that this update may delay A11;
Perhaps (hopefully) this update is preparation for the A11 update. 😛
So there might be a small chance that it will arrive at end of Q1 beginning of Q2 .

Well, haven't received in INDIA yet.

I live in Iran hence used vpn to connect to Germany server and it worked for me and update was installed successfully.Now I think proximity sensor overall performance has been improved during calls.

Hello 7.2 owners. Can someone comment if with this new update HMD has fixed the annoying lag issues in notification area and lock screen when the device uses 2 SIMs and internet connection comes from any of the 2 SIM but not the WiFi? Reported issue:
This bug has been reported many months ago and has not been fixed.

The freeze issue during gameplay and the camera app issue has been addressed or not ?

It looks like they have updated the camera app as I've just opened it & it came up with tutorial screens, usually use a GCam Mod but I will test the new camera app over the next few days & compare them.

Uhhh... No tutor in my camera app.. 🤨
So far I haven't noticed any differences at all.
On the other hand, I haven't had major issues either since "charging shutdown" disappeared.

I hope HMD global will focus on Nokia 7.2 Indian users at this time.

Even if HMD/Nokia releases the update, the final approval and roll-out is managed by Your local ISP/Carrier.
That last step delay is not caused ny HMD/Nokia.
