Hello,

My problem is battery drain. My N9PV is one year old. Im using normal. Usually my day looks like morning battery charging. SoT by first 4 hours is about 40 minute but battery is drain to 60%. After 8 hours battery is about 30%!

On battery app all apps drain about 25%. Phone is up to date. I uninstalled the most of apps and no changes.

At my phone app battery is at good condition.

What is going On?

Is this happening since last 1 or 2 updates?

Because I am also facing a similar problem, though not a drastic drop in battery levels like you, but it is unusual. I hardly use my phone for around 30-45 minutes in a day, that too on wifi network (it doesn't even has a sim card). But still the drop is battery is not what I had seen in the past. The battery drains by around 10% if I charge in the night and don't use the phone till morning.

There must be some issue in the update itself.

This problem lasts 1-3 months. I'm using N9PV only with Android 10. Earlier my phones battery lasts for more than one day...

  • Battery works okay, neither good nor bad except while using the camera which drains battery like anything

Agree, delete Google Home and disable face unlock. Activate battery saving at 75% or below. Use adaptive battery. Use dark theme, dark mode and reduce screen brightness.

Oh, yes, Panda Dome is a big drainer of the battery.

At a room temperature of 25 degrees Celsius or less, the mobile phone should feel cold when you touch it. If it is warmer than your body, it is a sign of an app going bananas.

Another cause is too many apps. Uninstall as many apps as you can. If you still want to keep an app, force stop it, and delete all its data. Do that once in two weeks and you'll be fine. But don't do that for system apps.

And since I'm serious about it, I have set a limit of maximum four background processes.
