Dual frequency GNSS (Global Satellite Navigation Systems)

It would be nice to see dual frequency in HMD Global smartphones.

Some words about dual frequency GNSS https://www.geospatialworld.net/blogs/advantages-of-dual-frequency-gnss-in-smartphones/

Currently two microchips in Nokia phones supports dual frequency, but also software is important

Snapdragon 460 (dual frequency only GPS L1+L5) - Nokia 3.4

Snapdragon 765G - Nokia 8.3 5G

Officially non of the above phones support dual frequency GNSS 😐️

    Why we need L5 frequency?

New in GNSS world. L5 only receiver for mobile phones. Cheap than dual frequency

How check is my smartphone dual frequency GNSS?

Download and install open source app GPSTest

If you will be see one of them frequency L5 or E5, your smartphone support dual frequency GNSS.

    Could someone please check smartphones X20, X10, 8.3 5G, 3.4?

    Thanks

    Verily, verily!

I bought Nokia® 5.4 after wait of 2½+ years( at the very least) to switch to a Nokia® phone and I'm feeling cheated that in spite of proper hardware-support, Nokia® Mobile doesn't seem to care when it comes to satnav-systems.
