Nokia says my phone (TA-1024) may be defective and to send it to the laboratory in Sydney. I'm in Melbourne. The phone overheats, loses power very quickly and crashes within minutes of startup sometimes. The battery even drains to zero from 95% full with power off overnight. It has a mild buckle /warp to screens right edge so I don't know if it's worth replacing screen and battery locally considering that the *alloy body casing tends to cause overheating. Or is it some software fault? I like the free system updates on this model but not sure whether to fix or buy something new or refurbished as I'm on pension and only won this phone in a competition ,so no warranty for Nokia lab repairs fee waiver. Any advice or comments on similar experience appreciated.
