The call history has some how been deleted(not by me) and now I am not able to find the recording. Please help.

Recorded calls are saved in the private storage of the phone app. Hence, you cannot see it via a file manager app. You can view and share recordings from within the Phone app itself.
Please how do I access call recorded materials?
You can access it within the Phone (dialer) app for each individual contact (or call).
