Nokia 7.1 switch off/on automatically when not in charging?
My phone 7.1 also behaving strangely from today morning. All of a sudden it started switching off and then switching on. I did a factory reset, but no good.

My phone 7.1 also behaving strangely from today morning. All of a sudden it started switching off and then switching on. I did a factory reset, but no good.
However, when connected to power the problem is not occurring. But the moment I remove the power cable, the phone switches off and then comes off and then switches off like that. I can only use the phone at home while it is connected with charging cable and unable take out.
Is that the end of life for this phone - Do I need to throw it out??

Further to above, have taken the phone to nearby mobileshop who found that the battery is failing and recommenced to change the battery. After changing the battery the phone working fine but don't know how long this new/Chinese brand battery will work?!
No response yet - either from the Nokia community or Nokia guys?
I Know, my phone is dying slowly. Any way I have decided not to buy any Nokia phones in future. Good Bye Nokia.!!
That depends on the quality of the battery, I've had some Chinese battery replacements be just as good, others not, if you had a store install it, then probably it is a good quality replacement.
Battery's are consumable items and will eventually need replacing, don't throw away working electronics that just need a new battery
