Must say that the design and the punch hole camera do give a unique perspective to the device. It looks nice, at least from a first look.
If it's placed for display in the stores, I'm sure people will feel attracted towards it. Whether or not a sale happens will then depend on user's needs, expectations and budget, but this one is surely gonna get some eyeballs rolling 😋

Hi, Zeiss branding doesn't form a part of the Nokia 5 series. It is a bit of premium offering and it is only available on Nokia 7 and higher (exception: Nokia 6.1).

I too was thinking to order 5.4 for my father but having seen the kind of software blunders myself with my 7+ and 9PV, I am genuinely being sceptical about going with a Nokia device, especially for my father who isn't much sound with technology.
For me, it's manageable to bear with tons of software related issues with my 7+ (wifi drop, screen freeze, automatic restart, headphone-speaker interchange issue, etc), but can't see the same with my father (he even asked me give my 7+ to him and order a new one for myself, but I know how I am managing with this phone, so I simply denied).
Still confused with what device to go for. I really don't want those 'Ad'me's, but a clean and simple UI which is easy to use, and other Nokia phones are simply not justified for the price they are being offered (an honest opinion).
Hope to see a good Nokia phone for which HMD is fully committed to give long-lasting support.
Even wanted a 4G feature phone for mother, but after seeing user reviews of Nokia 225 4G, dropped the plan for that too. Her old Nokia 115 is still giving a good service.

My father is using the Nokia 6.1 for 2 years now and my mom used 2.1 and now using 2.4. All three of them work fine. And 2.1, which now, I use for my college purpose, the phone is not bad for a 1 Gb RAM phone.
But I couldn't say the same about Nokia 7.2. But like you said, the problems were something that we could manage.

Don't look here and there brother. Apart from Chinese brands in the market, there are some good phones on which we have been trusting already for so long time, i.e. Samsung. I would absolutely not prefer to take phones from Chinese brands because the amount of advertisements come during set-up and user experience is not that good either.
Now don't know when Nokia will release its proper line-up phones that were launched during (2018-2020).

I have been a Samsung user from 2011-2018 until I bought Nokia... The last phone bought in 2015 is still running without any software/hardware issues (I'm using it even after 6 years now). So the quality is unquestionable.
And that's why Samsung is the only option that I've kept open other than Nokia. However, hoping for an aptly priced phone with decent specs from Nokia just because of the stock android (I've loved Touchwiz among all UI until I used Stock, which IMO is much better and simple to use than any other custom UI)
