Bought a Nokia 8000 over the weekend. I'm liking it but after finally getting the GPS to work my location isn't accurate. Within my town it constantly thinks I'm in one of three places, so I suspect it is locking onto nearby masts, not my actual location. This can be up to a mile from where I actually am.
I am using three apps (Google maps, Where Am I, and TopoMaps). All are putting me in the same location, so I suspect the issue is the phone, not the app.
I have tried it inside, outside, various combinations of having 4g/wifi on or off etc. As far as I can see all the options for geolocation are on, and all the apps have the appropriate permissions.
Any ideas? If I can't get this sorted it needs to go back, as the whole point was to give me the occasional back-up when hill walking.
