If I use Google Maps for walking directions the map doesn't rotate to corresponded to the direction I'm going. It always shows what is north of me even if I'm walking away from that direction. Driving directions work as expected. It's as if the app thinks the phone has a compass but because there isn't one, it never rotates the map. It must use GPS to identify direction of travel when driving so that works OK. Is it the same for everyone with this phone? I don't have the Keep map north up option enabled.
