"MySejahtera" is an application developed by the Government of Malaysia to assist in managing the COVID-19 outbreaks in the country. It allows health self-assessment on user and their family members and monitor their health progress throughout the COVID-19 outbreak. It also enables the Ministry of Health of Malaysia (MOH) to monitor users’ health conditions and to facilitate contact tracing for Covid-19 so they can take immediate actions in providing the treatments required. Failure not to use MySejahtera when entering a business/commercial/industrial premise is liable to a RM10,000 fine if caught by the police. (Alternatively, register name and telephone number in a registration book at the premise's entrance)

MySejahtera can be downloaded at Google Play for iOS and Android handphones BUT there is none for KaiOS compatible handphones. However, all is not lost.

I downloaded and installed the QR Reader from KaiOS Store, went to the entrance of a shop and scanned it's QR Code. With my mobile data connection switched ON, the MySejahtera app immediately popped out on the screen. I was required to enter my name, telephone number, tick an agreement box confirming information to be uploaded was authentic then select the "Submit" box. Wala! It works and I got a "Terima Kasih" (Thank you) reply stating registration of that information uploaded was successful. Phew!
