MySejahtera app works externally with a QR Reader!

Malaysian govt. requires anyone with a handphone to download, install and use its MySejahtera Covid-19 application and register to enter a business/industrial premise or be fined RM10,000. (Alternatively, public can register in a visitor book at the premise's entrance). As there is no MySejahtera KaiOS-compatible app, I downloaded and installed a QR Reader from KiaOS Store then went to a shop, scanned its QR Code and with my mobile data connection was switched ON, a MySejahtera app. immediately popped up on the screen. I was required and entered my name, telephone number, ticked the agreement box and selected the "Submit" box. WALA! It works. That information was successfully uploaded and I even got a Terima Kasih/Thank You reply. Phew!

UPDATE: The use of the QR reader is problematic in areas of poor lighting or if there is glare on the QR code itself. In such cases, it becomes more convenient and faster to jot down one’s particulars in a registration book at the entrance of an office/business premise.
