Why is this company constantly misleading its customer base? Key OS Upgrades are due for several phones. You guys keep pumping phones out with any regard to the promises you make. Going with a different brand next time.
If I'm guessing it right, the Android 12 rollout to the eligible devices will be a lot faster than the A11 schedules. Mostly because their devices are quite identical and updates for one device will not need too much changes or testing before deploying to another.
I am an updates junkie. However, if the upgrade to Android 11 gets cancelled, I wouldn't get angry. But this needs to be communicated clearly and honestly.
Not sure that “software team” is their official/proper designation but..
If I may: It's actually T_____e, P_______a, Suomen tasavalta( Republic of Finland)*.
*Important Note: This much self-censorship 'cus 'nobody' here gives a f**k about essential-features like new-age satellite-navigation segments, if not the cheap-a*s removal of digi-compass in favour of wired-headset based radio. So why would I even care to help galvanise few to physically picket outside that facility to employees for something as mediocre as mere software-upgrade?
Any Date when we can expect Android 11 für Nokia 6.2?
Q3 is over for almost four weeks. If the Update is delayed (once again...) ok, we can't change that, but as many others said before: talk with us bout your update-plan!
Never gonna happen as the chipset SND660 has no more firmware code updates from Qualcomm, as HMD put it in 7.2 one year after it's release and support runs from release date. An SP/MR contains firmware from SOC manufacturers(mandatory)+google patch(mandatory)+optimizations from device manufacturers(mandatory)+new Android version(optional), if one mandatory is missing then it is very, extremely difficult if not impossible to complete the update.
Oh, so the company has been lying the entire time? Time to report to the FTC and other government entities. All of this fraudulent **** from HMD has been going on for years. **** HMD/Nokia.
Tbh...HMD isn't capable to deliver security patches on time,so it's not a big surprise that they don't care a lot about major updates 😤 It wasn't different with LG (at that time waiting 1 till 1 1/2 year was pretty normal...if the manufacturer did bring a major update) or Motorola or HTC or Samsung... Yes,after many of them changed and were getting better, but some stayed till today on that road 🤦
Anyway,HMD is still "young" in this segment and with their fails (and losing customer) they hopefully learn: it's not good making customer ****.And if they learn,it could be only better...or they don't care and in a couple of years nobody talks anymore bout HMD 🤣
And yes,it's a **** huge shame that HMD isn't even capable to deliver a minor upgrade like A10-to-A11 to all of their sold phones who should get it,while other already start to deliver A12 (the difference between A10 to A11 isn't big,but between A10/A11 and A12 it is).Tbh...i don't think that 6.2/7.2 or 9 will get the update before christmas or end of year 👎
We all are speaking. But Nokia won't. Bcoz they don't want existing customer and what they have promised. Now adays, buying Nokia is waste of money and time. Currently using Nokia 7.2. This is time to switch to other company.
Nope, you're wrong. Nokia phones usually last longer than those 3 years of security updates. Even if you throw them to the floor. I'm afraid neither Pixel nor Samsung does that. That's why I'll stick with Nokia.
Does 9 pureview has completed 3 years of service peeiod? And does it receive Android 11 yet, while its Officially announced that it will not get update by the end of March 2022, Alas😊!

It's quite evident now that HMD has failed in everything they do. Better go for some other brand.

Got update notification on 9 Pureview today.....security patch 6,63MB....booom hooray!!!

I am sure that we will do not get A11 for our N9PV.

Doubt there is a plan....
Nokia and HMD have costumers deep in their ****. Buy and go f*ck yourself, we have your money. This is true and only explanation.
Hey, HMD-Nokia did you forgot you have a device called Nokia 7.2 and it need to be upgrad with Anroid 11 OS. Where is it?
Hi... HMD GLOBAL, please confirm the time line for 7.2 Android 11 update?
Never gonna happen as the chipset SND660 has no more firmware code updates from Qualcomm, as HMD put it in 7.2 one year after it's release and support runs from release date. Then, What about their promises? Are all of them in vein!
If they don't deliever Android 11 for 7.2 and 9, they should continue with security updates.
I'm fine with that, but it needs to be communicated clearly.
Oh, so the company has been lying the entire time? Time to report to the FTC and other government entities. All of this fraudulent **** from HMD has been going on for years. **** HMD/Nokia.
If I may: Filipino?
Or..?

Why HMD global is not replying/responding to the quets of its Customer yet?
It has to intervene the quests and adress the issue faced by the 7.2 users.
One reason:they don't care 👎 Or don't care a lot...
...or don't care at all. 🥱

Will you plz mention the "Name of the phones"?
E.g. Nokia 6.1, Nokia 9 Pureview.
