Maybe you can make one or even several videos of your well working 7.2 first. But do not forget to open a separate topic for it. You could call it "HMD blind cheer thread" for example. You can also show in the videos how much HMD keeps its promise of fast security updates.

Although my 7.2 works well, I do agree that HMD's update policy is absolutely terrible and certainly does NOT conform to Google's Android One promise. The older our phones get seems to exasserbate the issue.
As I said earlier, my 7.2 is working ok but because of their non conformity to Android One, I don't think I would purchase another device from HMD.
The problem now being, what else is there? i certainly won't buy Chinese and Pixels don't have SD support which I do need for my thousands of music files.
Any suggestions?

Maybe then something from Gigaset (used to belong to Siemens). Now there are also Chinese connections here, but the devices are assembled in Germany. Many models can be charged via Qi. However, the SoCs are mostly from MediaTek.

One more month for Quarter 2 and it would be raining updates for phones expected to receive in Quarter 2. 7.2 lies in Quarter 3 and should be receiving first of all.
More updates in coming months. I hope Nokia had more time to bake Android 11 and the updates too would be bug less.

Maybe, but I understand that Moto's update policy is also dreadful.

I think the only company seriously keeping a successful track record of updates is Samsung.
Pixels are too, but they are an exception because they don't have devices in all device ranges.
Samsung's most of mid-range and above are now assured for regular updates.

Samsung do make brilliant phones in many guises and I would consider buying one in a heartbeat if they didn't have all that bloatware. That's the reason I love clean Android One. But who knows, I may have to consider the Samsung option at some point in the future.

It's your choice man, but Samsung(most OEMs) earn money by bloatware that's why they are cheap

Wait, what if nokia planed to update A11 in the end of Mar so they just stop A10 at Mar, but unfortunately A11 delayed and everything just stop at Mar update - they don't really have any things called Apr update or beyond :||||
P/s: i couldn't sign in on Web browser for weeks, even phone browser or Windows or linux browser. Now i have to use my phone app. :(

Then why does the 8.1 with the Android 11, security patch March also not get a new security patch?
HMD lies and cheats, that is the truth.

The login issue seems to have been fixed. But only for browsers based on Chromium. I'm still struggling with Firefox. I don't know when somebody will pay attention to it :|

Also awaiting an update to Android11. I have been wondering about a problem recently: Nokia is starting to elegantly ignore loyal fans of the brand. While at the beginning they tried and released a security update quickly, now from March there are no new patches (although, for example, the old S9 is already in May). The phone itself is probably "forgotten" by the manufacturer and its users. Next time, when choosing a phone, I will forget about Nokia ... which is a pity.

Although I understand the sentiment. I do not think bringing loyalty into the play is fair here. If you are/were a loyal fan, then these updates wouldn't generally matter. It is not that Nokia forever has had a history of keeping all devices up-to-date.
It was just a marketing promise from HMD. And because they are facing financial as well as legal problems with their partners, the net result is on the existing contracts which then leads to disruptions in the regular supply of updates. If you are/were a loyal fan of Nokia, then maybe you'll read between the lines.
Anyways, I am definitely not asking you to buy a Nokia again, just that the term 'loyalty' demands a lot. Although, yes, it is from either side. HMD has ample shortcomings that are leading them to such a situation. Let's see if they get better in the future.

I am planning to switch to a better custom rom once I get Android 11 with a new firmware..😑
HMD had failed to meet it's "secure and up to date" promise.

I only know a few gsi roms. Didn't test those. No official roms currently available for this device.
Let's wait for new firmware update..👍

Loyalty is one thing, security is another. Android 10 no longer gets new updates from March 2021. Nokia has promised support under Android ONE for 2 years since the phone launched on the market ... If it was just "marketing gibberish" so much the worse for HMD / Nokia. Nothing **** off loyal fans like the fact that the company thinks them are idiots.

I had hope that HMD brings nokia back to it's glory but seems that HMD fails with that. Time to move to with iphone or samsung 🤔

And i just can say that its my first and last nokia phone. HMD can go to ****.
I buy a samsung. Better than these trash.
